Call for project ideas, participation -- Deadline 30 August 2010
Eurasia Partnership Foundation (http://www.epfound.am/ &http://www.epfound.az/) with support from British Government implements a project devoted to unbiased e-media coverage of conflict resolution issues in the South Caucasus. The project aims to contribute to accurate and unbiased reporting of regional conflicts, especially in the online media and blogosphere.
As a part of the project, EPF plans to fund innovative cooperation projects among journalists and bloggers from the South Caucasus. Hence, EPF announces a call for participation in a Social Innovation Camp and creative ideas for small joint project ideas. Based on interest letter review and interviews results, up to 15 people/ideas from the South Caucasus countries will be selected to participate in a Social Innovation Camp in Tbilisi (Fall 2010) where they will be able to establish links and build networks with their counterparts.
Projects will be selected by an expert panel.
Transportation and accommodation costs will be covered by EPF.
Criteria for the projects: Projects should be
- Internet based - In cooperation with participants of the Camp
- Innovative but feasible
The budget for each project should not exceed 1500 USD.
Criteria for participants with projects
Participants with projects should be
- acting journalists (also writing on the web) or bloggers
- be able to take part in two meetings in Yerevan or Baku and Tbilisi
- be interested in cooperation with the other participants
How to apply

- Expression of interest letter with brief description of mentioning what would you like to do and the budget figure only (2 pages maximum)
- Your resume
- Sample of your work (might be your blog post (address), video or audio podcast and other piece of work)
- Deadline for submission of applications is August 30, 2010
